Re: Qeema !
My simple yet very tasty Qeema recipe!
Half kg qeema
Fry two thinly sliced onion till light brown.
Then add one tablespoon ginger/garlic paste.
Then put your qeema and mix it with that thoroughly.
When it turns white add whole gram masala (zeera, bari illachi, kali mirch, long, dar cheeni), thinly sliced ginger, 6 green rocket chillies (chopped), mint leaves, two tablespoon curd, salt and one glass water and then cook till qeema is tender and there is no water left.
Re: Qeema !
I used to be in the same boat until I found a rec. for qeema samoosa filling, it is so good.
Fry 1-2 large onions (finally chopped) until they are transparent, then add finally chopped chilli, cook for another minute or so. The take out onion/chilli. In the same pan, add couple more spoons oil, and some 1 more onion, to that add ginger garlic past, salt, pepper, some red chilli, corriander powder, a lil bit garam masala powder, then tomato, let it simmer for about 1-2 minutes them add qeema, bhoonofy ache se, then add water if qeema is not done( usually I make chicken qeema, which cooks within bhoonofying process), cover let it cook, in the end when water is dry and qeema is galofied tu add the onion chilli mixture made in the beginning, mix and after bhonfying for another 1-2 minutes put finally chopped dhaniya( I also put 2-3 mint leaves) and it is done.
this is a lil differetn but very tasty...if you find it is on the dry side, add some yogurt in final bhonofying stages, should be moist.
Re: Qeema !

Re: Qeema !
I made qeema following DC's recipe mixed in with CB recipe and it turned out sooooooooooo yummmmmmmmy! this is what i did.
I washed qeema and soaked in vinegar for a while.
I browned onions and whole garam masala until onions were brown and then added qeema and fried it then I added ginger garlic and half a cup of water and boiled the qeema and then once the water was dry i bhooned it alot.
Then i added chilli poweder, haldi, corriander powder, salt and 1 tablespoon of shaan achar gosht masala and booned more for 10 mins.
Then i added tomato puree and bhooned for 10 mins.
Then i added yoghurt and bhooned for 5 mins
Then i added a whole green chlli and cooked it on dum and garnished with corriander. :)
Honestly my whole family was full of praise thanks CB and DC
