Qeema

So my walid mohtaram got this qeema that has excess fat in it. Now I tried making it last night and when I cooked it it was really oily and I took the oil out with a spoon and that was fine but there is still a slight heek to it. What can be done (if anything) to take care of that.

Put it in a pateeli, add some aloo, adjust salt and seasonings, add a little water and cook until potatoes are tender. That should handle it.

Or, boil some soaked rice until half done. Make layers of qeema and rice and "dum" it. There you have your qeema biryani!

another time if qeema comes with lots of fat in it make kebabs of it and bake in oven u get the tastiest kebeb.

Qeema with 15% fat is very good for grilling kabab or hamburgers. If you have to cook qeema with high fat, just do it with out adding any extra oil.
