The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) would launch a public protest movement if the election commission allotted the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal’s (MMA) popular election symbol, the “Book,” to any political party contesting the polls, JI central leader, Syed Munawwar Hasan, said Thursday evening while addressing a workers’ convention at the JI headquarters.

thank god its a book, if it was a ladoo or jalebi as a symbol, toh uss par kafi khoon kharaba ho sakta tha.
