Qatar puts visa curbs on U.S., UK citizens

I was thinking it is odd in the sense that Qatar is not like Saudia or UAE. It needs people to visit the country. Weird putting this curb, it doesn’t affect US or UK citizens, it just directs traffic to other cities in the ME region.

Thee is little tourism in gulf except for Dubai.

The curb will only effect south asians who once get the blue passport, rush to middle east to find a job.
