fee fijaaj-ir-rada …qadd daffant al-alamm
wa nasharrt ad-damoo` … li-riyaah al-'adam
wa-takhazt al-hayaat … mi-zifaa li-nagham
attaghanni 'alayehi … fee rihaab-iz-zamaan

here’s a rough translation:

In the valley of filth, I buried the pain
And I shed tears, for the winds of void
And I transformed life, into a musical instrument
I sing on it, in the openness of time
