Seriously, The Parsi Tower of Silence where the dead are laid to rest is surrounded by acres of uninhabited park land where entry is highly restricted. Even airplanes are not allowed to enter airspace above the Tower. Nobody is forcing people to see them.

It is our prejudice which horrifies/repulses us at the image of vultures pecking away at the dead bodies. I can as easily imagine creepy crawlies wriggling through empty eye sockets. Just calling spade a spade, sorry if I offend anybody.

Personally, I would prefer to donate my body organs rather than becoming wormfood or roast on a spit. But, that’s just my personal preference.
