I really hate to make a thread out of this but I really need to know this. Yes there are other ways of finding out but I’m too lazy to ask anyone (I don’t know anyone around here anyway) Does sour creme have Gelatin in it? A very simple question but its been bothering me for a very long time. Someone Please take a second and get me out of this misery.

Yes I do check the ingredients. See just the other day I was at a Mexican restaurant,( no not taco bell :p) one of the dishes had sour creme in it, I asked the waitress and she didn't know if the sour creme had gelatin in it or not. This is really bothering me, either it does or doesn't I'm just gonna stop eating it.
And oh yah confirm this if you know, someone told me If it has a letter U on the wrapper and has sour creme in it, that means the sour creme does not have gelatin in it.

Yes the U usually means no animal products (I think). As for plain regular sour creme, I don't know but I doubt it.
