Adaab to all mard and khwateen hazrat!

Right this has been in the works for a few weeks now..so..! :e6:

We come here and give our opinions that are based on our differing experiences in life and based on views that we hold dear. Many times we will see a poster giving his views and getting in return and we maybe don’t take a moment to consider why they have the views that they do.

Well now is your chance to find out!!

We will name a random poster every 2 weeks and you get to post a question(s) to him/her. It has to be related to them and their views in Life1. You will have three days to post your questions, after which the poster will respond to each question put to them individually. Insulting or phaddabaazi questions will not be tolerated.

All you lovely folks that do post in Life1 are a selective bunch, sure we all argue sometimes, get heated, trade pyaar mohabbat kay teer but ALL of you all make debating stuff so much interesting and absorbing and its a pleasure. It would be no fun if we all had the same views.

This little exercise will help us get to know each a little bit better and help us and others understand where we are coming from when we posts views that sometimes are inflammatory to others

1) if you were a man, would you be in support of Polygamy?

  1. No, but I won't ban it either as there may be some situations where polygamy is required.
  2. I wouldn't support polygamy as no matter how much a man wants to love more than one wife equally, he will end up liking one more than another and he won't be able to give both of them equal love and the time that they need. Also if they have kids then it'll be unfair for the kids as the father wouldn't have much time for both kids and wife either. There are just too many problems. One wife is more than enough.

Yes, do u pronounce it in the paindu way like Shak "polleee-gaimee" or do your pronounce it "polig-ami"?

Q: Do you agree that cousin marriage should be banned considering that many Pakistani parents from out of Pakistan want to have their children married to their cousins and it's hard for their children to convince them not to? There are many topics I've seen here where people have had problems with their parents wanting to marry them to their cousins and this is how I found GS. :(
