Ok, I'm gonna start soon. Sorry for the delay, it took some time to get this done, and then I was having problems logging on to GS today from work. No disrespect intended to anyone who may take things the wrong way, hopefully you'll be able to tell when I am joking!

I feel like I had a pretty balanced upbringing. I mean my parents are pretty religious, but I was allowed to go out, hang out with friends, go to places etc.. They instilled the values and basically trusted us that we would stick to them. I hope I have not disappointed them. Yes, I would want the same for my future unborn kids.
*there has been no texting/sexting in case anyone was really wondering
Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: partyslims’s Answers
partyslims are a chili chips snack which are available in Pakistan. They were a big part of my high school years between grade 7 and grade 12 ![]()
When I first joined GS, after my initial stint in Cafe, I pretty much posted in life1 exclusively; and then after venturing out, discovering the blogs, and making some friends, I kinda stopped posting as much here. But that was still probably after 8 months. Most of my posts here were humorous with a touch of seriousness. Unfortunately though, humor always doesn’t go off too well when people are in a hypersensitive state , so I tried to watch that. But sometimes people post the most inane things and are begging to be called out.
I read it pretty often. Like if I’m not on gs for a couple of days, i’ll always check out the blogs and life 1.
I like to think I’m a good mix of both, though my urdu speaking prowess is quite poor, but I can mix well in a gora (work etc) or desi crowd.
I’ve been mistaken for a guppan plenty of times lol. I lost count now. ![]()
What changes would I like to make on GS or life1, well since we’re in life1 let’s stick to this. I think a sticky for “Where are they now?” could be a pretty cool idea. There are times when people come and talk about pretty serious issues, such as domestic abuse , or potential rishtas and some of the advice they get from some of the posters is quite sensible. Unfortunate thing is we never really know what happened to them. So maybe a follow up where we found out what happened to that one girl whose husband was talking about her bedroom life to her sisters husband? Or the one who was being pressured to marry her brother in laws brother but the brother in law was a really controlling guy?
No, I have not. If anything, my close friends on here, I talk to them via pm/messenger etc and I can ask on there.

A gooey banana split with all the works. ![]()
If working/law and order conditions were good in karachi, definitely there. Maybe Dubai as I have some family there. I tried London for a month a while back but it was winter and damn depressing, but it’s just so awesome there ahahaha I guess ideally would be somewhere with a nice beach close by. Maybe after I hit the lotto one day. ![]()
Let’s see, I’d teach the parrot lines like “That’s what she said!”, “izzat ka mamla” , “Surely you can’t be serious” , “I’d like to give you a laurel.. and hardy handshake” you know the usual stuff that makes me laugh ![]()
Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: partyslims’s Answers
hahaha nice try but it’s always gonna be banana pudding!!!
hmm outside of the family I miss some of my friends who are there, the awesome food , and the beach.. ahhh love the beach there, so many fond memories of going there with the family and friends
I am the younger one so I think my older sibling got away with a whole lot more for some reason. But he was also more responsible so maybe that’s why. ![]()
Tolerance means accepting someone for who they are despite their nationality/race/religion/sexual preference/education/class/ or whatever other little labels we like to put on people. It’s trying to accept someone for who they are, rather than where they come from.
5)So it’s ok then to open it up, and then delete it? :halo: makes note of it :halo:
Honestly, don’t miss having a car much at all in the city. Public transportation is pretty easy over here.
Depends on the mistake I guess. If you are referring to being jaded after a sour relationship, it wears off over time. You may be more cautious the next time around, but eventually the heart does heal.
Gidsa could probably kick my butt with one hand tied behind his back, plus the fact that he’s already in Dubai , I don’t stand a chance. ![]()
Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: partyslims’s Answers

Are we talkin about a kfc meal, or a bathing suit/lingerie?
skinny with curves :halo:
NO!
Not Mustanamalik! Maybe Bill Murray and Dan Akroyd
No I would not. hmmm maybe Cris Angel cause he’s a douchebag
Ofcourse I’d buy as many cupcakes as I could to help them out.
uhhhhhhh oh sure why not , i’d do a booty shorts dance so he wouldn’t feel bad either
Re: Q&A: Zindagi aur Aap. Aaj ka Mehmaan: partyslims’s Answers
2/3)My views on life1 vary. I think some people do come here and look for advice as they may not have any other place to turn to. But I think they should be very cautious in listening to what is written, because not all people have the best of intent. But, there are some people who give great advice and really think about things before writing them out.
4)I don’t share too much personal info on here, because people can use that against you later. Those I’m really close to know enough about me and if I do get close enough to someone then mutual trust is shared.
5)I think redvelvet is probably the best at giving advice. She breaks down a scenario, thinks about how to convey her thoughts in a respectful, but truthful manner as well. I think if people who have problems, really listen to her advice, it will go a long ways to help out their situation. Ofcourse, this is all predicated on how honest they are about their situation.
Wow, Shak brought out my serious side. ![]()
