Q: What are your insecurities and fears within yourself, and your life?
A: Wow. Talk about a long ass question. Okay lets start with life in general as it is easier to manage and answer right away. I will use Fear and Insecurity interchangeably since they reflect the same issues. The first and foremost is dying before my parents do. I have seen first hand how a child's death has destroyed the family of a friend. I would never want to see that happen to my family. We are very very close, speak to my parents and sister every day and have done so since I moved out. If me or my sister ends up passing away it would be extremely difficult in life. I don't personally fear death. I fear what will happen to my family after it does happen. Another insecurity about life is the inability to readjust to civilian life. This applies to a personal fear within myself. I enjoy field work. I enjoy being in the thick of it. I enjoy this environment. Could I do a desk job in New York or Geneva? Yes. Would I be happy? Not sure. But then again with a family and kids I can not be living in places like Somalia or Yemen and come home for 2 weeks out of 3 months. That does not a marriage make. Then is the other issue of PTSD. I do not suffer from it yet but continued field work and i will get warped. I have seen it happen to people here. People who have done field work for 10 to 15 years. They are freaking insane. I do not want to become that.
Those are really my major insecurities. Other than that I am pretty comfortable in my skin. Sure I have done a lot of stupid things but I have come to terms with them and have not repeated those mistakes again.

come on!! is it fair that you did not answer this one. it's been 3 days, just say it, i'll give you a cookie, you can't just leave people hanging like this, yes we are all strangers but there were so many guesses just confirm one now. go on, wow what a nice mystery with the whole CM thing but all mysteries must be solved sooner or later so spit it out so we can be done with it. thank you :)
