Q? 4 the designers

hey i just wanted 2 ask
do u guys do the embroidery , sequins , beads and the dabki kaam by hand ???

Re: Q? 4 the designers

For mine my designer does 100% Hand work, not machine. that's why all my customers are sooo happy with the outfits the kaam just looks so detailed.

Re: Q? 4 the designers

ohh it must take u 4ever
is it easy ??

Re: Q? 4 the designers

what? i dont do it. lol the karigars do so im not really sure.

Re: Q? 4 the designers

sequins, dabka and beads cant be done by machine anyways! embroidery/threadwork-yes..but designs where embroidery and the other embellish work is done together, that too is done by hand.

Re: Q? 4 the designers

The karigars do the embroidery n other work by machines usually. But i have seen girls doing lots of things by hand in homes. It takes sometimes a week to design a single suit if its done by hand.

So the karigars do the work with small machines and they call it work by hand. The readymade outfits tht are made in the factories are usually countable in the machine work..

Re: Q? 4 the designers

oh thats cool

you are wrong, talking about shadow work sort of thread work in indus region upper sindh and punjab.

type of work that you are referring to being done at homes is very light work sequins, beads, threads only with certain low stitches.

embroidery on formal clothes is done Mostly done by men and its mans hand which goes well with that based on my experience..

Re: Q? 4 the designers

hmm

This is true. Pakifairy is designing an outfit for me and she has sent me pictures of the karigaar working on my outfit. I'm very pleased so far, the detailing is impeccable.
