To hell with him ! why he was coach in the first place? .. he got no credentials .. Mushataq Ahmed is a certified cricket coach who is coaching for more than ten years and he is frequently asked to lecture on coaching by ICC .. but he does not have GORI_CHAMRI ! I am furious at the Army Lunatic General Bozo and his army of corrupt clowns … what is wrong with hiring Mushtaq or Waseem Raja they both are qualified coaches who never got the backing of the board .. and enlightened slave-minded PCB never bothered to discuss Pybe’s ‘Look I got lucky with Pakies’ credentials .. the only thing ever PCB was gaga about was his friendship with Raja, Waqar and Waseem… not his coaching experience .. .what is wrong with Miandad ? or Mushtaq or Waseem Raja? Not white enough???????? And for those of you G.Bycott fans ? what in the world is his coaching experience ( he never coached not even on first class level)?? Maiandad has done more coaching than him why not him? To hell with PCB and their lunatics!

OKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY to an extent i agree with u......but here's where i get miffed!! it hasn't got anything to do with COLOUR, its a sport and colour shouldn't be an issue.

Boycet made more money in 15 days for giving tips than Mustaq did as a national coach in whole year ! Race is a issue !! A big one … I am not blameing Pybes or GB for that ! There is no arguing that, for whatever reason, expatriate coaches have been paid higher amounts in compensation compared to Pakistani equivalents.
Mushtaq Mohammad (not Ahmad), arguably one of the best captains in Pakistan Cricket, is a certified coach who now lives in England. He may or may not wish to come back since he had already raised this disparity in coaching compensation issue with PCB in his last stint as National Coach.
What Pakistan team really needs is a unifier who can make these remarkably talented bunch of cricketers to perform at the top of their ability. To make it to the test level, most of them already know the technical aspects of the game, and what they don't know, they can get from the specialized batting, bowling and fielding coaches. The national coach is supposedly a "know-all" sorta person who inculcates mental toughness and integrity into the players and creates strategic thinking and playing tactics with the help of captain and senior players.
With several of our national cricketers already suspect in foul play and scandals, it is no surprise that successive coaches found it hard to continue and share the blame of the losses. Plus the enormous egos of some of these players require a person who is more than just a technically sound coach. They need a father-figure, who commands respect and fear and has clout. To control demi-gods in our cricket team needs lots of talents, and cricketing skills is just part of it.

Mushtaq and Miandad aren't the answer. I don't see any problem in a foreigner doing the job. It's a shame Pybus left, he was doing a good job.
Sometimes it's good to have an outsider viewpoint. Too many of our own types end up bickering and arguing over stupid little things.
Coaches do not win games PLAYERS DO! .. its upto the players to learn and implement what they learn from coaching … the keyword is learning .. to quote Waseem Akram ‘We do not need any coaching on this level’ and that is the sentiment of many our international players … problem is not foreigner coach (I do not get it how does Pybus or Boycott qualify as a coach??) it’s the attitude of PCB (Pakistani beourucarcy in larger sense ) who is willing to pay much more to Gori-Chamri than they do a Brown dude! That is so disturbing .. and still if you go to discussion boards or chats desies insist on foreign coaches .. why??? I still do not get it ! coaching is about following a system and discipline and for most part its up to the players to LEARN from it .. they choose not to .. they are so stubborn, insecure and politically motivated .. Boycott or Pybes don’t have magic wands that will turn our fortunes around .. we need system in place first where players learn about the basic principle of being coached and that does not start at the highest level (Test cricket) …
Coach has to be excellent in communication skills.. Javed and Mushtaq and Raja have that .. I don’t think English speaking coach is a big obstacle in coaching but Pybes and GB or any other Lalupanju Gori Chamri do not have that understanding of Pakistani cricket psyche .. I am all for Foster and Specialist Fielding coach .. one of the few good moves that PCB made was the hiring of South African Fielding coach .. but Pybus refusal to move to Pakistan is slap in the face .. what is wrong with living in Pakistan .. not white enough not enough liquor.. not enough bootie call???? .. it’s a shame .. we don’t need to be degraded like that … its insulting … National team is a source of pride … we are a cricket playing nation we have enough cricket resources … if qualified coaches are willing to move and respect our culture than fine get em .. no need for pampering and buttkissing of Gori-Chamri

i agree with whatever rooster blues is saying.the pakistani management are willing to bend over for goras but cant manage anything decent for much more qualified pakistani coaches.y2nad,race is definitely an issue,THINK ABOUT IT.

hmmm... guuys i dunno if u agree or not, but they r trying gora coaches cos being a jaahil pakistani qaum,,, we donot think much of our own coaches ,,, the players' attitude towards desi coaches is " o buss theek hay,,, issay kia patta,, we know better how to hold the bat n how to play the shot n how to throw " . the only reason miandad was unsuccessful was because players didnt think much of him n didnt give him much importance,,, the juniors r fielding n practicing while the elite of the team r no where to b seen,, or standing at one side with hands in their pockets,,, this is no way u treat coaches,,, have u seen how these goraas treat their coaches?! ... its not about colour,,, its because we r desis n we cant see a desi telling us wat to do,,, simple! .... if u can fix the teams head.. then u can appoint a donkey as coach ,, n even that,ll work fine.
OR ... if the desi coach is as strong mentally n has such awesome leadership and administrative qualities as imran khan, who wud make his players do watever he wanted,,
, n no one cud dare agrue with him over small things, then he can b useful.
