JJ, it happens in every relationship, fact of the matter is, whn a GF becomes a wife, its pretty hard to handle. i have seen very few couples having a successfull life with former GF. i doubt it, our parents fell in love first n got married, but Allhumdiliah, marriages from 60's,70's & 80's are successful cuz they were arranged.
marriages from 60's, 70's and 80's are successful because back in the days many women were brought up with the thought that no matter what you're going through you HAVE to stay at your in-laws...they were told by their parents we only wanna see you out of that house when you're dead!!! Also, mojority of women were not very educated and if divorced they had no support by their families and they were not strong enough to be independent because of our society values. Whereas now things are very different....more and more girls have started to stand up for themselves and try to fight injustice as much as possible and that is what's causing the divorce ratio to go up
