2nd day 2nd show, in Capri Cine Karachi.
Pata nahin kia sayapa aaya tha ke dost ke behkaane mian aa kar is ko dekhne chala gaya :smack: itni zabardast promo ki hui thi and the huge signboard flashing across the Cine appeared to promise a good movie. I was also partly under the impression after seeing ‘Yeh Dil Aapka Hua’ ke ab pakistani movies behtar ho rahi hain, both storywise and technically as well…par sighz!
Both the artistes were new…and Meera surprisingly appeared in a guest role…a brief skit so to speak.
The movie is nothing much to write about, flawed storyline, characters did not put up a good acting display (ghussay aur emotionally-charged scenes main daant pees pees kar bol rahe they :smack: )…4-5 thakay huay gaane (choreography was good whoever did it)..technically weak thi…
Shot in dubai and islamabad/pindi. Beherhaal, aadhi movie to main ne aur mere doston ke comments ke waja se achi ho gai…sab hans hans kar lot pot ho rahe they dekh dekh kar aur logon ke extempour comments sun sun kar.

How would you rate this move compared to the usual jutt-style shaan-saima jhutka-thumka type movies?
Did you think YDAKH was better? I thought it was the most stupid movie ever - terrible script, terribly dialogue delivery...etc
You are right. To be honest, i believe it to be a case of high promo and no meat kinda thing. Website, signboards and posters were all good, not the movie itself.
Outdoor advertising is getting better now..with computer generated signboards instead of the regular paint-dabbed posters that we have all seen growing in front of Capri, Nishat and Star cinemas here.
Haven't seen this Ydakh. I draw comparisions from only 2 civilized pakistani movies of the recent times: Yeh Dil Aap ka Hua and Chalo Ish Laraein (God...can we get any more cheesier in the names? :D)-incidentally, both were better than the current flick. Both technique and storyline.

i thank God i have never seena paki movie in a long time…but the songs from “Pyaar hi Pyaar Mein” dont seem all that bad. I like d the song “tum mere ho”. dont know abt the rest…
