Re: Putting Children In DayCare
Try it. I was in the same shoes as you...Mine was about 3 at that time. I chose the Day care that was close to my Husband's job so that he would check on her at Lunch hour etc..(not a good choice since I had to add an eextra 30 mins to my commute)Also I chose the one that offered that you could see them online since there were cameras(which I didnt get to do too)
My daughter didnt like it a whole lot since she was there part time(according to my class hours) and they have this schedule of sleeping ...that she couldnt follow as she was not there whole day and not as tired. She also picked a lot of bugs worst of which was the stomach one...but kids can get it from anywhere...it was just more severe come to think of it since my other one goes to a school too now.
Anyway after the semester, I chose to send her to a Montessori school rather then a day care. The timings are like regular schools but he good thing is that there is a lot of learning..and most of all she loved it there.
Will you be going full time to school.Have you seen classes that would fit in to a Mother's day out programs etc. I consider those better options then the "all day daycare:)
