There is a person on GS i have ‘ignored’ but i still see that person’s name popping up all over my blogs with the following message
Its just annoying because my blog page is flooded with this person’s name. How can I completely ignore/block this person so i don’t even see this person’s blog headings?

I don't know. I thought that the entry is only hidden by you and others could see it, but I guess that you are right. Probably I can't see it

Cheegum, I think that the posts from this person are hidden to you however you still have the option to expand and see what they posted. All other users can see the posts because the user is not on our ignore list. I think the only way to stop this person from commenting on your blogs is to make your blogs private and only viewable to certain users.

Blog settings–> Permissions & privacy–> untick the box of ‘members on your ignore list may view your blog’

Oh wait, I thought you wanted to stop the person from seeing your blogs. But you don't want to view his/her blogs.

madz i don’t care if that person sees my blogs or not, for that i just post a pvt blog. I don’t want to see that person’s name flooding my blog home page

Sara is right. I don't have anyone on ignore list but as far as I know putting someone on ignore doesn't mean they will completely disappear, just that their posts will appear hidden to you.

There is one way!
You can politely ask the person to put you on their blog ignore list.
You no longer will be able to see their blogs = Problem solved!

You know yum-yum that is very possible. Except the last time i tried being polite to that person, that person told me off.

My blog TL is clutter-free now. RJ 45 did the trick ;-)
