Oh Jaisalmir is mentioned in Shah Latif’s stories "Sorath Rai Diyaj’ and ‘Leela Chanesar’. These stories are full of amazing traditions. In Sorath Rai Diyaj, A Rajput Raja gave his head to a singer, as he promised for givin anything to the singer. In Leela Chanesar, Leela exchanged her husband for a Nau- Lakha haar (necklace).
In Pakistan, PTV used to refer Farooq Abdullah as ‘Kath putli Wazeer’.
