I didn’t say i prefer my Mum’s side…but yea, who u r shud be the mix of both ur parents…i just don’t get Y heritage and lineage etc. has to go thru ur paternal side only, when everyone knows we come from both parents 
…well i’m gona ignore the norm or wotever anyone else says, and say i’m both Kashmiri (maternal) AND Punjabi (paternal), not just Punjabi
