last night, on nightly news, brian williams said sth to this effect in this time of pending war....... on one hand is a man who studied to journalism, and is a poet..on the other is a man who was literally weaned in the army, rising to the rank of General ....so you see, when vajpayee makes a statement, his words are backed by words of his generals etc, but not his own perception....but when musharraf speaks, he knows every inch of strength/weakness of his army etc...its not hard to conclude which person is making more authentic remarks...
to me, its pretty clear that the label of aggressiveness that was previously on musharraf's forehead,being an army man et all, has now flown over the border to vajpayees...

Lets face it ppl it was us who surrendered in bangladesh...i hope tht event doesnt happen again...y the need of a God Damned war...live & let live...ppl threatin 2 use nukes...do they even know wht the circumstances would be...the whole of asia would be in danger...and to stop the effects of a nuclear xplosion v wod have to pay billions to the americanz to use their advanced technology...then i dont see the point in this war...to hell with kashmir...wht is more dear to us kashmir or lahore?..think about it...

I am still not sure what the issues are in this dispute. I am sure that some how the two countries of India and Pakistan should come to some sort of agreement, even if it is only to agree to disagree, and go on with life.
I relize that is over simplyfying the problem, but I can see no positive outcome, if these two countries go to war. All I see is the possibility of hundreds of thousands of innocent people being killed. I don't understand!!! Am I the only person that worries about this? I worry about people on both sides of the issue. I think about those of you here on the message board that live in Pakistan and India, and the minister and his family that live in India that I correspond with, and the many others that are just like you.
Isn't there any way for a peaceful soulution, are am I just being stupid?
I know it probably isn't a huge issue, but the truth is that no one involved is a pig or a dog. I really don't see how call each other names will help anything. Please remember that regardless of the religion of another, they are human, they are just as important as you are, and God loves them too.
The bottom line is, we are all human beings, and we must share this one planet, and somehow we need to learn to respect each other and live together in peace, and accept the differences in others.

It is not quantity that matters, it is quality. It is clear that Indian has quantity but there is no doubt in my mind that Pakistan's military is of a much better quality. Don't believe me? Read on.
India: Has Russian MIGs - these are reducing in quantity as they are crashed by the IAF. Those planes are no good against what PAF has.
Pakistan: Has American F-16s (they can be - and probably have been - modified to deliver nukes. Pakistan also has the French Mirage-IIIs. Also the f-7s and many more.
Aside from airplanes, I dont know what more India has, but I know that Pakistan's are better.
Pakistan: T-59 tanks, the Talha AV, and the missiles.
FACT!!! India can only (to my knowledge) deliver nukes through ground. But PAF, can midify the f-16s to nuke by air. Lets just hope that it doesn't get to that.
