Re: Purpose of Sending Prophets
Sharaabee,
I see it with a different perspective and I believe perspective is the reason of difference between us.
- In my opinion, it is the same thing.
- The whole Islam and the fundamental beliefs are clearly outline in Quran and Sunnah and Prophet (saw) has clearly taught us through his life. Notice the difference, teacher is actually Prophet and not God directly. God is the source of knowledge and the prophet came to deliver the knowledge of God. Prophet has ensured that there is no ambiguity in Islam and its teachings.
- Your teachers are not the actual source of knowledge. They learnt from SOMEONE else and pass on to you that knowledge through some written books/documents. You did not personally meet Einstein or Newton or Carl Marx or Darwin for example. You acknowledged the teaching based on the trust you had on your teacher.
- It is same when some students don’t understand things a teacher say but some very well do. It’s not the fault of the teacher but something lacks in the student that he needs to get corrected. It does not mean teacher is giving wrong knowledge.
I guess we will have to agree to disagree.
