irem, the purpose of our existence is to worship Allah.
somehow the answer "the purpose of life is to worship God" implies that God needed us to gain fullfillment so he would be worshipped. Somehow i don't feel comfortable with the formulation of this answer.
This answer implicitly has in it that God got the feeling he wasn't being worshipped enough and created man for that purpose.
The purpose of life should be viewed from man's point of view - and not as is the case in the above from God's- and then i come back to what i wrote in my post

that's actually quite a valid point -if you undo it of its 'extra' flavour you always put in your posts-; and it reinforces also what i've said: purpose of man on earth is to worship Allah sounds quite 'theocentric'. The purpose of life is for human to proof their worth towards Allah, whether that is by prostration or otherwise. To proof you worth, that you're good enough for the coming 'tests'.
