i absolutely love this dress! i think it was from ahmad bilal and he quoted me 98000 for this dress :0 he said it is a HEAVY formal. but anyway i am planning to copy it so no worries!
its not really the combination you are looking for but its pretty close

yeah $1150 to be exact i just checked the mail. and its by ahmed bilal. same embroidery on the back as well though

I have seen this ammar bilal piece in person and would someone ever believe that it DOESNOT have a SINGLE stone used in the work done :konfused: It is all sequins,cut-dana,pearl and transparent beads used !!!

yeah i can imagine its pretty much obvious in the picture. may be i have seen its copy as well which was pretty close to it.
the neck is done with french knots right?

wow 30,000 for this?? :O:O liberty dupatta gali is like FULL of these kinda dresses and liberty is not a cheap market its pretty expensive on its own and this dress would be done in 10-12k there!! all inclusive!! you are way too expensive dear

I understand, but then Lahore's prices are much lower as it is in comparison to Karachi. The quality of the embellishments used in this dress is also of a much higher quality than you get in normal markets, so it is priced higher accordingly

you think lahore is 3 times more expensive than karachi? :P
anyway this is not true i go to karachi for shopping like i went last month. i know all the markets here and there. the raw material is much cheaper in karachi and variety is far extensive!. for example the chiffon that is 380/yard here is 260/yard there and i know all types of chiffon available in pak literally be it danedar or wrinkle 40/50/60/80/100 gm or 4/8/16 maum or white/blue/orange/camel card!! embroidery rates are pretty much the same except for mukhesh which is expensive in karachi. other than that i can tell you no matter what kind of embroidery is there on that dress it cant be more than of 12k(with the usual profit).
i dont mean any harm to you but i wanna say that I KNOW you have veryyy high profit margins there.

I dunno where do you girls buy stuff for 10-12k, my mom just sent me an anarkali dress and it has less kam than the pink/purple dress and it cost her Rs. 30,000. She was quoted Rs. 45,000 for that in Islamabad Jinnah Supermarket. I was shocked to see how expensive it was and told her that she had been ripped off but things have changed a lot in Pakistan... everything is tooooo pricey!!

I still believe that my mom paid way too much for that dress but I guess that's just how it is these days!! if someone got similar dresses for 10-15 k, please post pics and addresses. I will love to see and then ask my mom to check them out for more dresses!!

things have changed but not like this people from abroad get ripped off cuz people here have made them believe that things have changed that much!! plus you people dont have much time to search. l have mentioned liberty dopatta gali. its a really good market expensive but not insanely expensive. plus you need to have bargaining skills..
