could nyone post different shades of deep or dark purple…and combination of purple with other colors…I seen somewhere purple shade nd i loved it but i couldn’t find that shade now…Plz help me

This chart is a mix of cold purple colours with Royal purple as the base.

I LOVE purple. It's my favorite color...I gravitate toward it. But despite that...I think it's not the best color for bridal wear...and I've yet to see a purple bridal dress that thorougly wows me. More power to those that can make it work. So far the only purple bridal clothes I've liked is one that my friend wore.........it was a very very faint pinky lavendar color......really pretty and suited her complexion, etc.

i m not a bride(got two kids now :) )..i jus want to make a formal dress nd want a combination patti at the end...actually the original dress in black colour with deep red patti at the ghera but i have loads of black dresses...i couldn't post the pic of that dress here :(

there was that purple bridal recently that was gorgeous. hot pink accents, I think.

I quite like aubergine purple. But yes, i've rarely seen purple done well either as a bridal or a fancy outfit. i've seen a few purple valima outfits floating about but they don't appeal to me.

I know that a lot of professionals use "Pantone" colours for references...if you can get your hands on a Pantone colour book - you can always give that reference to people in order to avoid mistakes.

cosmic purple…i dont know there is somthing about this colour that reminds me of a poem i once learnt in school…

im referring to the inside of that dupatta? look closely :smiley: LOVE that purple…(see below also)
