Was offering prayer without topi. A baba hold my arm and after keeping his shafqat bhara hath on my head said ‘Beta aadha sawab mile ga’.

Whats with Buzrg babas for passing such judgements in respect of matters between Allah and His Bunda?

he may have been the mutawalli [guardian] of the mosque and trying to enforce the ‘aadaab-e-masjid’ [etiquette of the masjid]…i’ve the same problem when i visit India…i never wear topi for my prayers so i usually forget to take a topi along with me and, unfortunately, i’m caught everytime by these buzurgaan-e-masjid [masjid ke mutawwe]…yeh log mere sar pe ek gandii sii khajoor ke pattoN kii Topii shafqat se rakh dete haiN! :cb: it’s both embarrassing as well as annoying! :frowning:

Masjid me to plastic ki basket ka bhi istemal topi kitarah hota hai....:D

Muqawwee bhai aap sindhi topi nahi pehnte hain..?

Culture is my life.. You know I’m a very cultured person :halo:

I just wanted to know why in Desi culture, people interfere in the matters between God and His bunda… How could he know about aadha sawab? Did he got some measurement apparatus?

we should ask muqawee if he at least wears a shalwar yaa naikar main namaaz parthtaa hai

Couldn't say anything to baba ji, because he was quite weak and was offering Taraveeh in sitting position. I just give him a smile :)

But that reminded me another incident, where a Maulana said me 'Tum Jehanmi ho'

He had said in his famous Fatwa Khuda ke liye 'Deen main DaRhi hai, DaRhi main Deen nahin'... Inspired from this 'Namaz main topi hai, topi main namaz nahin' :)

yes I heard many molanas saying that. its so easy for them to pass such harsh fatwa on people.

namaz main kapray hain, kapron main namaz nahi. :@: j/k
