Has anyone ever tried the products by Pureology? They’re supposedly salon quality hair care products… shampoos, conditioners, etc. for serious color care… I’ve been so tempted to buy it cuz I need to undo all the damage I’ve caused from coloring, recoloring, highlighting, and bleaching my hair.. and all the oils and conditioners in the world haven’t been able to hydrate my hair and bring it back to its original texture.
It’s a bit pricey… about $30 for just a shampoo… so I dont wanna go out and splurge till I get positive feedback from someone whose tried it, or who knows someone whose tried it…
I do! I'm using their Superstraight line of shampoo and conditioner, though they don't really straighten my hair they moisturize my hair well and make them shiny as well. I have gotten many compliments on my hair after I started using Pureology.
I have heard Federic Fekkai is even better. I want to try it! :(
CA, how often you normally color your hair? Or how much have you colored it in the past? Mine is soooo damaged, Im wondering if I'll get the same amazing results you did... is the texture of you hair smooth and silky now? Is it easier to brush and style after using this shampoo?
I was this close to buying either Federic Fekkai or Pureology shampoo and conditioner today but then I rememberd this thread and thought I would reread what others had to say before buying. Unfortunately, I don't see much feedback here. :( Come on people, speak up. Consider this a matter of life and death. The beauty of my hair depends upon it. Thankyou.
I have used Fekkai's shampoo and conditioner.. nothing that great.. only hair treatments are good.
I just heard about Pureology last month from my mother in law who swears by it. She highlights her hair and since Pureology is a vegan shampoo containing no sulphate, etc, she really loves it. She said she tried many other shampoos until her hair stylist of 15 years told her about it and she gets them for quite cheap through her (big bottles of shampoo + conditioner) for $50. Even I was tempted to buy and use it but since I have never colored my hair, I guess it won't be of any use to me.

I have colored my hair only twice. Pureology really made a huge difference to my hair. I have wavy hair so I have problems detangling my hair but Pureology takes care of it very well. It is definitely very easy to brush and style hair after using their shampoo and conditioner. I'll say try it out!! I hope you like it! :)
