basically the full name used to be 'Peer Muhammad' and shortened to Peeral.

I think Bano in Persian got the same meaning as Nisa in Arabic i.e. lady. Bano was used as a name and suffix to the names of ladies in Persia and the tradition later followed in India due to Mughals
