Re: Purchasing kaprey from online

Hello,

fashionveer.com is my boutique and I would like to say that this isnt my work! I'm running a business and not joking around! I dont know whose work Miss Preti has posted and why Mr. Junaid from Indus Mart has been so eager to show everyone the pictures.. even though he said he doesnt consider Fashion Veer a threat but all this is making me believe otherwise! I would request both of you to kindly stop whatever this is that you're upto! This machine work isnt mine and I'll have my picures up soon enough too!

ihad posted this to same post of hers in separate thread.

Ms hira this is not fair, did i post these pictures, go to our site and check if these outfits are ever listed with us except blue one which you call conventional.

you should ask the person who had posted the details to prove the purchase as i had earlier to one of the imposter and donot bash me please.

my history here speaks itself, i had been here before even fashion veer existed at those times there was bargello, zarrichannel, emarkaz, 786 etc never did this to them what makes you think would do this to you.

yes we do not consider you our competitor frankly although you sell similar products.

honestly another reason i donot consider you our competitor we would soon be gradually saying good bye to this copying thing its too tiring and it is too hard to even match them at prices we charge i would be posting our own new collection here very soon…

secondly its not really easy to copy them specially at low price, would like to tell you something else, it took us 2 years to come to a point where we can actually had the intellect and capacity to copy the designs and then we started offering them after insistence from even our own customers you can see our cached versions on web and for first two years there were only our own products.

i would like to tell you one more thing this is not something small we are talking about, its business and business serve 1000s of customers do you really think we can be right 1000s of times NO, we do blunders aswell we had done so many times.
to give you an example that i donot consider my company perfect, here is the image http://www.indusmart.com/gupshup/Sleeve-Mistake.jpg , and outfit was http://indusmart.com/shop/di-peach-g…-pr-19060.html customer sent this to me yesterday (sleeves stitched wrong). , can you imagine a person who had stitched outfits for last 15years do this kind of mistake (i donot consider this a mistake but negligence or a failure) , yes surely.. it is not just a failure of a tailor but whole process (tailoring, quality check etc).

these are not things for which we should be annoyed of but to learn and move on and donot allow things toget to a point a dispute becomes an animosity.
yes many times customers do get naughty as well but atleast if you are sure you had done right thing shouldn’t be worrisome at all.

i don’t even consider my business a boutique its too small for me, what i envisage is an industry with 1000s of employees (inshAllah) .

don’t come on me and tell me i had anything to do with it rather go and talk to the poster.

^ Eventhough, you guys messed up the sleeve... must admit that the outfit itself looks really good! :biggthumb

yes it was messed up bad, i guess our staff got over confident & overlooked the details and time was ripe for them to have them hardly tuned.

It was really big of you to recognize and own up to your mistake. :) In any given business, every now and then, things may not turn out as planned but it's the responsibility of the business-owners to acknowledge/accept their mistakes and try to mend them.

HIRA AT FASHION VEER

Re: Purchasing kaprey from online

hello

Just wanted to add my 2 cents about online shopping. I’ve been a customer at Bargello.com for the past two years. I’ve had at least 8 outfits made by them, and my twin sister has had more than 10 made.

the PROS:

-8 out of 10 times you’ll receive an almost exact replica of the picture on their site.

-their color matching is absolutely perfect. the color you see on the screen is 95% true to what you get in the mail. some colors i’ve noticed over the years come out better than others [yellow for some reason is tricky]. plus, if you choose from their color pallette, you know exactly what you’re getting. For outfits where I’ve wanted to change the colors, I’ve found that referencing the color on a specific picture helps tremendously.

-the quality of the work is beautiful. they use very intricate beads and pearls and threads. the quality is flawless a good 80% of the time, and the only reason I say that is sometimes when you get your suit, you’ll notice a crystal that has come loose and is dangling perilously off of the rest of the work. but for the most part, the work is delicate, complex, and most definitely hand-done. one note of caution, back in the day they would bargain with you [that no longer is the case], however as we are Pakistani, i think bargaining is in our blood. be aware that if you bargain with them, the work on the clothes will suffer. not to the point that you would never consider wearing the thing, but, it just won’t simulate the look and feel of the pictured dress [which for me is a must when purchasing online, especially the designer replicas cuz hello, we want the designer REPLICA].

-the materials they use are superb. period. beautiful banarsis in chiffon and jamawar. high quality crepe and other silks. they even have the same prints that are pictured; not like some shops that send you the outfit, but the print is like light-years from looking anything like the picture. its always classy. not pandu. my worst nightmare is getting something that looks straight out of the pind–which im sure for some people works just fine.

-they are extremely descriptive in the details of the outfits and will actually follow through on each and every single detail described.

-the customer service before the outfit goes into production is wonderful. you’ll get an email asking for measurement confirmation as well as any customization that you want.

the CONS:

-obviously it’s SUPER pricey. the suits I REALLY REALLY want off of their site are WAYYYYY out of my range. so i end up purchasing the cheaper outfits and requesting the color palette of the outfits i really like with several custom changes to the design. this has worked out well in most cases.

-cutting and sizing–this can go horribly wrong, i imagine, on anyone’s site. even if you give them the correct measurements, i’ll get back 3 suits that fit too tight around the bust, and 2 that fit nice. so with that said, order larger, and fine someone in your local vicinity that can make alterations. I ALWAYS get my shirts altered. either the sleeve is too tight, or the hips are too wide. Every shirt I’ve gotten from them has the hips made too wide so that the shirt sticks out on the sides. its annoying. and if you want that well tailored look, you’ll need to get the shirt altered. or maybe i’m just an anal retentive *******. :shrugs:

-sometimes, the designers will overlook a detail [like the pictured dress has a tye dye dupatta and you request that you want a plain one]that you’ve mentioned to them over the phone. my advice is to both call and then send emails to confirm the outfit details. if they have it in writing there can be no discrepancy.

-sometimes [not too often] their designers take artistic license; like adding a color to your shirt that you did not see in the picture nor did you request. this can piss you off. but then you look at the event pictures where you wore the outfit and you go “ohh, i see why they did that. looks good.”

-customer service sometimes doesn’t reply to emails and will not pick up the phone. this will drive you mad.

-their orders oftentimes are delayed. so if you don’t stay on top of it and hound them with phonecalls and emails, you won’t get your stuff on-time.

ok, that’s all i can think of for now. hope this was helpful.

oh and p.s. i’m trying out fashionveer. maybe next month when im not so broke, i’ll try out indusmart or khaasboutique or something else. i really wish i could find some beautiful yet inexpensive sarees. :sigh:

^ Thank you for all the "tips and pointers".

I am really satisfied and happy with FashionVeer's customer service so far. Hira has been wonderful... I am actually the one who's been late in replying her e-mails.

Anyway, I haven't got my outfit yet but I am sure it'll look just as good as the original piece.

(And before the accusations start flying around: NO, I do not work for FV. Gosh, why do we always have to explain ourselves at the end of trying to 'vouch' for a certain preferred business/company. Tsk, tsk.)

All companies are normally staisfactory with their customer services so long as ur happy and keeping them happy ...

The problem arises when you get a problem ... and they dont want to fix the issue ...

true colors start to shine through then ;)

and if u pay through western union, and something goes wrong like in my case, they can steal your money and not much u can do about it ...

IF ur going to buy online, you need to use ur credit cards ... though they need to pay for charges, at the end of the day, you the consumer is protected!!

why do u think she is sooo keen on western union and offering discounts .. discounts prolly more than what she would have to pay in credit card charges ...

something to think about, no??

Re: Purchasing kaprey from online

so wow pp forgot to mention the phone onversation with her cousin. OMG hira just e-mailed me the convo it is a sleezy guy threatning her to gang rape her if the colour on the dress isnt changed as requested by pp. NICE! The reason she left the forum was because she didnt want to deal with such a person and now i know she was right on not sending your clothes. i shouldnt have written this on a public forum but you deserve to be treated like hell pp. you're a woman too how would you feel if this happened to you?

like i said before .. i dont kow of any telephone convo ... why would i get someone else to call when i can call myself??

and furthermore ... if i was going to ask a 'cousin' to sort it out, then dont u think there would have been constant calls?? why was there just the odd call of such nature??

furthermore ... anybody taht knows me will know what part of pak i'm from and whom is my family .. i dont have alot of family left there ... i have no 'cousin' .. i only have an aunt and uncle ..... and if its a number from here .. lemme have it and i can get to the bottom of it ...

name and shame ... i have no problems with it if someone is going to act in such nature!!!!

IT WASNT ME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also the fact that my name is in her profile and her number is public ... perhaps it was a prank?? but im thinking more of the fact that is made up cuz iv known for her to lie to me before!

...
