Personally i dont consider it a breaking up story. Ansar this time tried to pose over sensational journalist. I dont consider marks increasing as a 'very big crime'. True, it should not be done either by CJ Iftikhar for his son or CJ Dogar for his daughter. But we all know how all parents,teachers,relatives standing in lines outside the physics and chem. labs on final practical to have thier guys score max. in the practical. External was served with best lunch with 15 cups of tea by a college in a day to have 'Nazr-e-Karam' on the guys of thier college. I have seen external going to a seat telling all MCQs to students and checking he actuall has written correct word in correct blank.... 90% of our jobs in government/private sectors given on reference or pawa.
etc. Its so common , at any stage of life, i dont think anybody of us have not done some hanky panky or such sort of thing. Fathers are worry about thier children careers etc.
But nobody point a finger to those 'pure religious mullas' who have eaten 6000 kanals and Zardar and Co. after having a 'Ganga Bath' from NRO with 2 billion dollars corruption but make him the President of Pakistan !

Watch Ansar Abbasi, Kasuri,Akram Shiekh, SM Zafar discussing this issue. Ansar says he is very sorry to write this story as CJ daughter is like her daughter but his duty urge him to do as whats happening in Pakistan.

Dude, are you saying that using illegal influence is ok by a person who has taken oath for law's supremacy? Can you think of any similar thing done by a chief justice in united states? Dude, he would have to resign within two days cuz i can very well imagine how media will rip him apart.
Oh, may be I'm forgetting something but you must have rememberd that. What was the reference that was filed against CJ Iftikhar? If i'm not wrong, wasnt it for the corruption charges? Then, what happened in the end? What was the decision SC panel going to give?? Was CJ Ifitkhar convicted in that?
Dude, you can say whatever you want but CJ Iftikhar could not be proven corrupt. And musharraf knew this very well. Otherwise the hieght of animosity he had with the CJ Iftikhar, he would have given him a longterm jail in corruption charges. Even after illegal sacking of whole SC, Musharraf couldnt prove a single thing. What are you talking about?
Let me remind you what happened. CJ and his gang never allowed SJC proceedings to go ahead and do investigation of the corruption charges against Ifti so you cant say that nothing ever proved against him.
Even today I am of the opinion that either Dogar should take somoto action or reference should be filed in SJC. Dogar should get his name cleared which unfortunately CJ Ifti (with the help of his gang) refused to do.

This Dogar is a puppet who will go down in history as a villain and collaborator of Pakistan's most tyrannical and brutal dictatorship. This guy should be given a jootoon ka haar and paraded all over Pakistan.
Decent, the gang you refer to are unbiased principled people like Justice Bhagwandas, who did not become party to this great injustice.

Faisal bhai, 660/1100 is the min requirement to sit in the medical test .Certainly by 641/1100 she even could not appear in the test so this 'rechecking of papers' plan carried out to allow to even sit in the test.Actually it like that 50% of entry test and 50% of FSc marks net total makes merit if you apply 50% on 660 then u need super dooper brain to score in test to reach the merit. I think even u score 100% in test evn then 50% of 660 will not get u into medic. So first she was given a chance to appear in test by increasing 20 marks then so simple, one night before the test , whole answer sheet would be given in Judicial Colony , Islamabad and finally medic school principal was given a 'judicial order' to admit this 'medic chik' as with 50% of 660 , i dont think she can be admitted to even lowest medical school.
600 odd (out of 1100) despite dhandli is a truly horrible effort. Most good students would score more than that in their matric exams (which is scored out of 850) never mind FSC. Even Chandka Medical College may reject her!!!
This is nothing but open fahaashi by the CJ. Dhandli and sifaarish is quite common in board exams (infact in any sphere of life in Pakistan :)) . If the CJ has any moral conscience he should resign immediately. If such impropriety had come to the knowledge of the media in Britain, they would not have rested until the CJ resigned but in Pakistan sadly such beghairati and besharmi goes largely (unchecked and) unpunished.

tsk tsk, what a shame… Now she got into a medical college… Unless we have people like Aalsi, who would continue to support their favorite dictator’s actions, however ridiculous they migh be, strictly based on only ethnic and personal lines. Yeah sure aalsi, it was a clerical mistake I bet, she would have topped the FSc exams.

ISLAMABAD: Farah Hameed Dogar, the daughter of the chief justice of Pakistan, whose FSc marks were jacked up, thereby, sparking a controversy, has already been admitted to a medical college against a special quota reserved for judges, although, the same college had refused to entertain her application before her marks were revised by the FBISE.
The earlier refusal of the Islamic Medical College, Rawalpindi, had primarily come because Farah Dogar was in Grade-C with only 641 marks. But only a week after her first attempt, she submitted a fresh application along with a new marks sheet to the college, which accepted her application only because the new result showed her in Grade-B with 661 marks.
Farah Dogar’s case file also shows that after the validly-allowed re-checking of her answer sheets and improvement of her original marks from 640 to the previous 641, her file in the FBISE did not move for 20 days. It was during these days when the chief justice’s daughter first applied for the entry test in the Islamic Medical College.
However, the file suddenly found wings on Sept 10, 2008 when the then chairman FBISE Commodore (retd) Shamshad, in violation of the board rules, ordered: “Pl have the answer books of this candidate re-assessed.”
This order of the chairman came only five days prior to the last date — i.e. Sept 15, which was fixed by the administration of the Islamic Medical College for the submission of applications for the entry test.
Since the deadline was approaching fast, the controller of examination referred the case to his deputy controller examination on Sept 11. This deputy controller on the same day wrote on the file: “Special arrangements may please be made, as directed by the chairman, today” and referred it back to his controller of examinations.
The very next day, on Sept 12, the controller of examinations noted: “Pl call the examiner concerned. Proceed as directed by the CM (chairman)” and sent it back to the deputy controller, examinations, who wrote on the file: “Immediate pl.”
On Sept 13, all the examiners concerned were made to attend the controller, examination (Sec) office to reassess her answer sheets. Normally, the answer sheets where the re-checking is required are sent to examiners in sealed envelopes but in this case, the “head examiners” were made to attend the office of the controller of examinations.
After the controversial re-assessment, which resulted in an increase in her marks from 640 to 661, an assistant controller of examinations referred the case to the deputy controller of examinations on Sept 15. The same day the file was moved to the chairman, who granted his approval to the new marks.
The controller of examinations directed the office concerned to prepare the revised marks sheet the same day. The file showed that it was not only prepared the same day but was also handed over to the chairman through the controller of examinations personally. And the same day, the candidate’s application along with the new marks sheet reached the Islamic Medical College’s admission section, where it was accepted for the entry test.
The candidate took the entry test on Sept 21 along with other candidates. She passed the entry test but could not qualify to get admission on open merit. She was, however, given admission against a quota, which is allocated by the college for sons and daughters of judges under an agreement reached between the university and the Al-Meezan Foundation several years ago.
The Al-Meezan Foundation was created in the old building of the Supreme Court of Pakistan at Peshawar Road, Rawalpindi, for the welfare of judges, both serving and retired. The college management confirmed to The News that one candidate recommended by the foundation was offered admission, provided the candidate had more than 660 marks (first division at least) in FSc and that he/she also passed the entry test.
Meanwhile, a source said for the one-seat quota of judges, some other candidates were also in the run to get admission but luck smiled on the chief justice’s daughter. The source asked this correspondent to dig into the matter as to what had happened in the Al-Meezan Foundation and who from amongst the scions of judges higher in merit for the single seat did not get it because of the chief justice’s daughter.
Major (retd) Munir Azam, who until recently was associated with the college administration, confirmed to this correspondent that Farah Dogar had initially applied for the entry test but her application was rejected and returned because she did not have the minimum 60 per cent marks.
It was also learnt that the former chairman of the FBISE, Commodore (retd) Shamshad, who enjoyed six years of term as the head of the federal board, is being tipped as chairman of the under formation National Education Regulatory Authority (NERA). However, due to this controversy, the retired commodore is expected to lose the post-retirement government job.

Well, I guess you have a filter on, where you remember only the things that you want to.
Can you please further explain how SJC stopped the proceeding? What was the decision of SC panel against the reference of CJ? Was he proven guilty? Why was the emergency imposed? What decision were they going to give?
If you can prove that CJ Iftikhar was corrupt as the present one is, musharraf will kiss you in jubilation cuz he couldnt prove it alongwith his whole machinery.

instead of spending decades and billions of dollars to build that good for nothing atom smasher at CERN, those stupid scientists should have passed a few sub atomic particles through the chain of hierarchy at FBISE and get the results delivered at home same day.

NA panel takes up extra-marks case of CJ’s daughter

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly standing committee on education has summoned the federal and state ministers as well as top officials on Thursday to probe the alleged misuse of authority in enhancing marks of the daughter of the chief justice of Pakistan.
Chaudhry Abid Sher Ali, chairman of the committee, confirmed to The News on Wednesday a number of complaints had been received by the committee. After the publication of stories in newspapers, he said, it was felt that something wrong had been done to give the top judge’s daughter extra marks.
He added a meeting had been called for Thursday and all relevant people, including senior officials of the education ministry, secretary, additional secretary and chairman of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) summoned to answer quires raised in the news items.
Ali assured that the committee would stay neutral at the meeting, scheduled for 11.00am, and a transparent inquiry into the reported misuse of power would be conducted. Anyone found guilty of power abuse would be dealt with according to the law, he warned, explaining federal and state ministers for education would be asked why the daughter of the chief justice was awarded extra marks.
Members of the committee include former high court judge Fakharunisa Khokhar, President Asif Zardari’s sister Dr Azra Fazal Pechuho, MNA Maulana Fazlur Rehman, former foreign minister Sardar Aseff Ahmad Ali, Zubaida Jalal and others.
Meanwhile, a former chairman of the Rawalpindi and Sargodha Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education has said there are no rules allowing the rechecking of a student’s papers (answer sheets).
Dr Aziz Ahmad Hashmi, in an exclusive chat with The News on Wednesday, pointed out the chairman of a board was not empowered to re-mark papers of a student. By the same token, he explained, the chairman of the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) had no power to order re-evaluation of papers.
“I have been chairman of the Rawalpindi and Sargodha boards. I have never seen any rule, which has been exercised by a former FBISE chairman to re-assess the papers of a student,” Hashmi said.
“Although pressures were exerted every year by influential people to have the marks of their children enhanced, the chairmen would come up with one answer that they could not reward any student in violation of rules.” He went on to explain that recounting of marks was the right of every student but re-evaluation was illegal. The FBISE had thus set a unique precedent, he concluded.
