I think Punjabis pride themselves to be very fun loving and having halla gulla type of people. They find Mohajirs to be very boring and Khushk. Also, Mohajirs have this attitude problem where they think they are "more educated", "more refined" and "more civilized" then their Punjabi counterparts who happen to be in majority in the army and Police.
Keep in mind, I am generalizing a lot of stuff here. All mohajirs dont think like that and all punjabis are not the same either. Sometimes, I do find Punjabis to be a bit over-the-edge. They like to brag too much about things they do and try to shove it in others' face. This needs to stop. We should all appreciate other cultures. It's good to be proud of your own culture but you have to keep in mind, everybody has this right.

This is complete stupidity. I dont agree with the concept of Muhajirs at all, who is Muhajir ????? People born in Pakistan are pakistani, where did they do hijrat from? Heaven/hell to Earth? Most of the people who migrated from India to Pakistan in 1947 are now dead.
Punjabis or anyone who calls anyone muhajir born in pakistan are stupid too. I count those punbis as "Aqal aur taleem ke kamee (lack of rationale & education)". Anyone whoes parents/forefathers migrated from India but they themselves were born in Pakistan should call them pakistanis not Muhajirs. You only calls FOBs to the people who migrated born in West are called ABCDs or BBCDs, not FOBs (got the idea?)

Only those people are called mohajir who migrated from India to Pakistan in 1947 but they were not Punjabi's or Sindhi's or Baluchis or Pathans.
All those Punjabi's, Sindhis, Baluchis, or Pathans that migrated during those times are not called mohajirs.

We shouldn't let narrowminded people bother us. If Pakistani people have one big flaw, it is generalizing and stereotyping. True, Punjabi culture is more relaxed than other cultures, but that doesn't mean Punjabi people are simplistic or ignorant. Actually had a discussion which turned into an argument at a dinner party who kept on saying Punjabis being less educated, refined etc., what really angered me was that HE was punjabi himself.
So my Punjabi people, why the self-hate?
