Its masaan as per sufi poetry of Punjab.
Thae place where Hindu people burn dead bodies is called Massann in Sindhi, which is very close to this Punjabi word for graveyard. In Sindhi, qabristan is referred to as ‘Muqaam’ by old generation, but that is probably an Arabic word.
