Assalam o Alaikum I want to put my personal worry to Karachite members of GS. I have to study in a university at Karachi ( NUST PNEC ). I want to ask whether students from the districts of North Punjab like Rawalpindi or Lahore are welcomed in Karachi. Whether there is hatred in the minds and hearts of people of Karachi specially in the younger lot. Is muhajir-punjabi conflict effective in Karachi's educational institutes. One of my friend did not went to Karachi although he had secured admission at IBA Karachi. He told me stories that you will not comfortable in Karachi.

Im not a Karachi Brother, but my first cousin went to PNEC for his Electrical Engineering, as a NUST student. He lived there for 4 years, off campus, with his mother. The area around PNEC (Karsaz) is very safe, navy owned, and good. Accomodation is easily available. My cousin had a very good experience there, and has since moved to Lahore, but still remembers Karachi very fondly. You will have a great time there as a student.
