my husbands karachi friends call me bhabi.Yes one of my friend calls my husband by name but then add that respectful prefex"kehtay/kertay hain"Some karachi ppl even call their kids by Aap.
Who says punjabis r possessive.my husbands female cousins hug him(hmmmm...actually i'm the possessive karachite here ) n their husbands try to shake hands with me(he doesn't object when he def should)i never saw such traditions in my family.but this is just from outside inside they r conservative n not too broadminded.dress modern ho gaaiy hain per soch wohi hai.
