Partition changed all the demography. There were Muslim majority districts in Indian Punjab, but now you know the % of Muslims in Indian Punjab.

As per 1998 census Hindu still forms almost 9% of the Sindh’s total population.

The 22% number is from 1951, so 4 years after partition. I would expect that the impact of partition is included in that number. What explains that 22% going down to 1.7% at a national level ?
