Large amount of taxes collected at karachi are custom duties and sales tax on imports which is used by all over Pakistan, this cannot be taken as indiginous tax of karachi.
The other problem of awarding NFC based upon GDP is that the inherent disequalities in system are perpetuated, bcoz underdeveloped areas have poor GDP. GDP includes not only the products but also the investment, consumption and spending by government. Again by this scheme Balochistan will lag behind.
