Punjabi Dialect of Ambala/Patiala

AssalamoAliekum everyone,

I have been trying to find some background regarding this subject but can’t find anything. My mother’s family is from Ambala and they speak something in between Punjabi and Urdu. I was interested in knowing if it is regarded as a separate dialect, or if there is any information about this.

^ Ambala and Patiala are in two different states- Haryana and Punjab. But they have almost same dialect and it's very close to Haryanvi. In Ambala , a large population speaks Haryanvi only.
