Re: Punjabi curry recipe

lol... it is not curry... it is karhi...lol

Re: Punjabi curry recipe

Now i want karhi pakoray :(

Re: Punjabi curry recipe

my mom makes amazing karhi.. man i am craving them now..

Re: Punjabi curry recipe

Just make sure to make the pakoras yummy like you normally make em.with potatoes/onions/thania..masala etc....that makes for a yummier karhi. Also I like my karhi a bit on the tangy side...so use yogurt that is a bit tart :)

no wi want it too...not sure any place near me makes that!

Re: Punjabi curry recipe

^^ someone once told me to that I can add some sour cream to karhi to give it that tangy taste....
though i have not tried it that way,but i think it should taste fine...

Re: Punjabi curry recipe

am about to start a thread for this karhi:D
thanks fot the recipe

Re: Punjabi curry recipe

chips, my MIL suggests keeping yoqurt outside at room temperature for a day or two before making karhi to give it the tangy taste. SHe also says homemade yogurt works better than the packaged kind since its sweeter. I did it this way once and it turned out khatti, the way i like it.

I was tihnking of making it this week but the thought of consuming all those calories made me cringe and not do it :(
