Hmm yeah I see where you guys are coming from in terms of the similarities, but if you look at a generic view, Indian punjabi’s seem to be very so full of life, tradition loving, they love singing and dancing and wear the brightest of colors etc… their culture totally depicts these as well.

Punjabi’s in pakistan seem extremely different as compared to punjabi’s in India. I cant seem to point out the exact difference but you can tell they are starkly different in appearance, communication, culture etc

Actually Punjabi Muslims in Pakistan seems to have accepted bans in the name of so called islamisation by likes of Zia, which faded the colors of culture. Example: ban on Basant by calling it Hindu festival, though people like Nizam u din auliya (RA) celebrated it. Otherwise, before 80s and still now whenever Punjabi Muslims got opportunity, they have proved that their culture is not stagnant.
