oh, looking at Sheikh Rasheed and his ancedotes (majj and doodh statement) it sounds correct. but I heard, Hushyarpur's Shaikh's are kanjoos. My friend Babloo is also Sheikh, but he is not Kanjoos. dost to saare hi cheap panna dikha hi jaate hain :p

Khatri are hindus. Later converted to sheikhs after becoming muslims.

Nope, Punjabis, the majority of them are Hindu and a minority are Muslim and Sikh.

Sheikh Rasheed isn't a Punjabi Sheikh, he's a Kashmiri Sheikh(like Iqbal), they have different orgins.

I thought sheikhs are sheikhs, regardless of punjabi or Kashmiri origin they are goray chittay

The most famous stereotype is that janjua, jats, awans, ghakkars etc are "martial races". There is no such thing as martial race
