But where is KPK Govt. , where is Sindh Govt and where is Balochsitan Govt. Will KPK and Imran Khan initiate some program like PSDF in KPK ? Until now he has failed to attract any FDI in Manufacturing, Mining, OnG Exploration Blocks (In Karak and Kohat where MOL, OMV and ENI already operating), Hydel Dam, FMCG,Small & Medium Enterprises etc to create job market for the Youth of KPK. Will rigging mantra going to solve the horrible situation of unemployment in KPK ?
Punjab TO SEND 150,000 SKILLED WORKFORCE TO QATAR IN 3 YEARS
Sunday, May 24, 2015 - Lahore—A delegation led by Minister for Labour and Manpower, Punjab Raja Ashfaq Sarwar will leave for** Qatar** tomorrow on 4 day official visit for exploring the avenues for export of skilled work-force.
Talking to APP on Saturday, he said: “Initially Pakistan plans to export 150,000 skilled workforce for Qatar’s development in next three years”.
He said** three key government organizations **are currently fully engaged to support the labour export to Qatar as well as private sector which also includes Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority Punjab headed by Irfan Qasir Sheikh, Punjab Vocational Training Council and Punjab Skill Development Fund.
He said that Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif always attached great importance to the welfare of the down trodden on top priority and export of labour to our Muslim country will greatly help launching mega development projects besides improving the socio economic condition of Pakistan labour besides boosting Pak foreign exchange reserves.
Raja Ashfaq Sarwar said that he will also give detailed presentation to their counterparts in Qatar followed by marathon sessions while other four members of the Pak delegation will also highlight the potential for successfully and timely export of skilled workforce.
When contacted Chairperson** TEVTA Punjab Irfan Qaisar Sheikh **who is former President Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry told APP that “TEVTA” is producing the best quality skilled workforce which could compete international standardin their areas of specialization.
He hoped that “Our skilled workforce will contribute significantly in the development of Qatar”. He said that Chief Minister Punjab and Labour Minister Punjab are taking keen interest for upgrading and modernizations of all training institutes of TEVTA in line with latest requirements.—APP
