As far as Punjab Police is concerned, if i am stopped at any check point theb rest assured min 100 rs is what i have to pay…the amount can increase as per your car size and Punjab Police does it indiscriminately…
If i register a baseless complain against you, no matter what you do or how ridiculous the complain is, minimum 10,000 you have to pay to get out of the mess…
Now on terrorism, regardless of the race and gender, Punjab Police have made it their source of income, Ali Mohd Khan say Peshawar Number plate is harrassed, ask him to about Sialkot, Faisalabad, Multan and number plates issued from other cities…the moment they enter Lahore they are stopped…Even Lahore number plates are not spared…
So i wont be surprised if Police is not making money out of it…but CTD is doing job so far…
My concern was regarding trade unions…and as i stated above it turned out that it is a hoax…
BTW…almost all Army Jawans at check points here in Lahore are either Baloch or Pathan…and they always stop us and check our vehicles and ID cards and ask questions like where are you going and from where are you coming and making huge traffic jams…can we call it harrasment?
