b) Just because a majority of pashtuns may come from other parts of NWFP doesnt mean jack. Swat is a well settled area, and has good access links to other parts of the province. Chances are even if they’re from different parts of the province, they have significant links with each other.

But you said those Swatis have relatives in Karachi, who you said are the pakhtuns living there? Oh bhai, its simple, they dont have relatives there, nor do they have homes or the means to get there. Bacherey truckoon ke neechey latak kar Swat sey 100Km ka safar kiya, and you think they’ll somehow magically all reappear in KAachi.

Doesnt make sense. MQM has no incentive to get bad press if the number of Pashtuns wasnt sizable enough to impact local dynamics.

Pashtuns? Be it PAshtuns, Swatis, Baluchis, they dont want anyone to enter their city, quite simple.
