Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

Does it matter to PTI if anyone votes for it or no, their idea is to bring destruction and chaos only, for that they do not need any representation in any parliament... all they need few cult followers!!!

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

Who needs votes when you think you can get what you want through mobocracy.. !!!

Naya Pakistan = Fascist mobocracy

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

MQM no matter how bad they are, they are way better than PTI

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

If what you claim is true, where are the people of Punjab on this crucial issue? Why have they been kept quite which is creating doubts in the minds of people of other provinces that what IK and TuQ are saying about rigging are correct? Why can not NS address this issue in parliament and out side of parliament? If what army wants again to kick him out, he should take in to confidence the whole nation. Majority of Sindh and Baluchistan and I am sure majority in KP do not want this change. NS has to come out from his palaces and organize biggest ever jalsas in Lahore and other big cities excluding ISB to avoid any clash. Sooner the better. Army has given 48 hours to NS to accept the demands of its pimps or go home which is highly likely in absence of any action by your leaders.

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

They are not. AH and his cronies are passively saying what IK and TuQ. This organization is 'turap ka patta' for estabilishment, will be used if IK and TuQ fails in carrying out their mission. Yes PPP, ANP and other main stream political parties have sided with democratic process rather than supporting the pimps of army.

But people will still vote for PMLN after watching nanga nach of good governance in gojra Joseph colony PIC services hospital waghaira waghaira.
:k:
And if all fail…CM Punjab will beg terrorists to help his family win the next elections…haath joor Kay…like he did after manawan attack. In return hell dogs like ludhiyanvi and likes will rule the middle earth

Khan Says His Party Would Rule Pakistan If Elections Held

Pakistani opposition leader Imran Khan said his party would win a parliamentary majority if fresh elections were held today as he continues a monthlong protest to oust Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

PTI will win the elections today,” Khan said in an interview last night outside Pakistan’s parliament, referring to his Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party. “I will have a clear majority, and if you have polls now you’ll see results already. I’m confident.”

Khan, a former captain of the national cricket team, has camped outside parliament for the past month demanding that Sharif step aside while an investigation is held into vote-rigging allegations. Sharif’s party won a majority to mark the country’s first transfer of power between elected governments since the country was founded in 1947.

“**Khan knows that his chief objective to compel the resignation of Sharif, perhaps through the military’s pressure, has failed,” Michael Kugelman, an Asia Analyst at the Woodrow Wilson Center in Washington, said in e-mailed response to questions.

“He has been dragging this out because he wants to squeeze out any possible concession.”

Economic Overhaul

The protests by Khan and religious cleric Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri threaten to disrupt an economic overhaul needed to secure financing from the International Monetary Fund, as well as delay the sale of a global sukuk bond. Pakistan has targeted the economy to expand 5.1 percent in the year starting July, the fastest pace in eight years.**

Khan rebuffed critics who say his protest has failed to draw large crowds, saying that Sharif has used the police to make arbitrary arrests and deter demonstrators. He said his movement has a “massive following” throughout the country.

As long as the protest lasts, as long as we sit here, it is going to add pressure on him,” Khan said. “The longer it lasts, the better it is because people are realizing their rights.

Khan rejected claims that he is acting on behalf of the military and said the prime minister should have control over the armed forces. Pakistan’s army has reiterated their support for democracy during the deadlock in a country ruled for half its history by the military.
**

Violence**

Three people were killed and 500 injured over the past month as Khan’s camp sought to shift their sit-in to the prime minister’s official residence. Khan suspended talks with the government for a second time last week after supporters were arrested.

“I won’t allow people to topple elected governments,” Sharif told a joint session of parliament today. “Last year’s elections were the most fair in Pakistan history.”

Khan rose to fame by leading the nation’s cricket team to its first and only World Cup win to date in 1992. He married billionaire Sir James Goldsmith’s daughter Jemima Khan, with the union ending in 2004.

“Khan’s image is not really of a politician but a leader with similar anger as the public has toward conventional political culture,” Taimur Rehman, a political science professor at the Lahore University of Management Sciences, said by phone. “His main support is the urban middle class who have hated politics growing up.”

**China’s President Xi Jinping postponed a visit to South Asia’s second-biggest economy, where $34 billion in deals were scheduled, on a trip to the region this week that will take him to India and Sri Lanka. Pakistan Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says the IMF’s next release, sale of global Sukuk and divestment of Oil and Gas Development Co. shares have been delayed because of the protest.

The turmoil in Islamabad fueled a 6 percent fall in the benchmark stock index in August, the biggest monthly drop in three years. Pakistan’s rupee fell 3 percent, the worst performer in Asia, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.**

lol

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

If free and fair elections are held, next match would again be between PMLN and Pti. The result would depend upon the fence sitters who are swinging between the two parties.

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

don't forget Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.. he would be there as well.. whether anybody likes it or not.. and while is out there collecting sympathies... PPP voters would again come out to vote the new leadership..

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

We shall see. For the time being PPP is a non entity, the shift of voters is happening between Pti and pmln. Agreed tht Pti has made some blunders during the past month but people are not satisfied with PMLN too. If Imran strikes the right chords he'd be back in business. Anyways Pti is staging a big show in Karachi today. Some one else is also having sleepless nights.

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

Big show? I doesn't look like more than 30 thousand. Or perhaps I've been watching wrong videos on yt.

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

^ ok small show. Thanks for the correction.

Re: Punjab & Lahore will never vote for PTI

To be very frank the shift of voters I have seen is from Pti to PMLN. Mind you some people have shifted the other way too during the past month. I have yet to see people moving towards PPP. People's party has its constituency which would vote for them no matter what. Anyways, let people get 50000 electricity bills and we will see for how long they'll remain PMLN voters.
