Jehlum might be important place in Punjab as it is named behind Alexander’s horse. That indicate Greek armies passed near by and probably fought a war in the area.

BTW where was Raja Porus state?

Interesting, Jhelums history goes back to Mahabharata times, and according to Wikipedia the pandava brothers hid in the salt range.
