Stupid resolution. What happened at Alhamra hall was deplorable but it was inept administration and not students’ fault. When our nation is struggling for entertainment venues, sitting parliamentarians have once again showed how disconnected they are from youth of Pakistan.

This is amazing that Punjab PA never banned the half naked mujras that were happening on the stages of Lahore, but one stampede, and they decided to ban music concerts.

^ What I am saying is that the things worth banning went unnoticed, and this mountain of the mole hill was made and concerts are banned. What concert has to do with stampede based on a rumor situation. It could happen during any close hall gathering.

Asif, was this the first time a college organized such event? I had so many of them within my days of college/universities. This is the first time ever such incident happen. This is too reactive fo PA to ban it based on one event in years,.
we have so many people die in jalsay/juloos every year. Why is there never a complete ban in those things?
