My middle son, age 4 is the actor of the family. He didnt want to go to skool today and was all whiny saying the inevitable “my tummy hurts”. i didnt beleive him and started pressuring him to get dressed etc. He started to comply :halo: but then just heaved all over the place. My 5 yr old son was so grossed out that he started retching too. The little one, soon to be 3, well he was just so amused by all this excitement that he needed to be in on the fun too so he ran to get a “puke bucket” and started hawking and spitting into it with an evil grin on his angelic little face.
I hope you have hardwood flooring. We had to throw out a very nice rug after a similar experience with my little one. Maya just got over a night of (stomache virus) puking. But she's got the stomache of a bird.
ah well yes we do have wood floors .... in some rooms but of course... not the room that they happen to puke in. Oxy-clean, febreeze and elbow grease is the order of the day.
Awwww. Hope he feels better.
I start throwing up or at least gagging when it comes to others vomiting. I remember once I was driving back from NY during ramazan with my sister and her family. Well my neice starting throwing up and that was the end of my fast To make things worse it was a snowy winter day and I couldn;t even open the window. One awful trip that was.
mama: i always enjoy reading your posts regardless what topic they're on .. and it just striked me right now .. that when those 3 bundles of joy grow up, get mature, start reading, and when u guys have get togethers and stuff, u'll be able to recall these things cuz u wrote'em down somewhere :-)
i hope everyone feels better.. i guess i was the weird one who ALWAYS wanted to go to school and didnt wanted to stay home.. (i guess being from co-ed DID some advantages:D)
My son had a habit of throwing up whenever he was too pissed off, it was like a last resort for him, if nothing else works throw up. He somehow learned to do a bit of Awwyyyyyyyaaaa and empty his somach out. Started at age of two but since last one year, Alhamdulillaah he has stopped.
I think what they need is a sister. My experience, not personal though, has been that arrival of sisters/daughters results in significant changes through out the household for the better.
