Job Description:
The Islamic Society of North America is seeking a full-time Public Relations Coordinator (PRC). The PRC will be responsible for:
- Cover all ISNA events and develop press releases
- Work on the ISNA E-Newsletter
- Establish a monthly ISNA newsletter
- Cover any events assigned by the Secretary General
- Function as the liaison between ISNA and the media
- Function as the staff liaison for the ISNA Public Image of Islam Committee
- Function as the liaison between ISNA and its interfaith partners
- Other projects that the Secretary General may assign
Job Requirements:
The successful candidates are required to have the following credentials:
- Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college or university in communications, journalism, public relations
- A passion for the mission of the Islamic Society of North America
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to travel extensively
- Strong time and project management skills
