Public places and nasty messages

It seems that everyone in Desi culture a painter and uses walls of public places like historical monuments, public toilets as their canvas. Wall chalking by the political parties is their right.

How do you see this practice?

Share some funny / nasty messages that you come across, while visiting these places.

let me start first:

On our way from Lahore to Islamabad, the bus stopped near a motel so that pessangers can relieve and have some snacks. When I went to the washroom, mere to 14 tabaq roshan hogae and my vocabulary for nasty terms increased a lot :hehe: Out of those nasty message, one that I can share here is : ‘Yahan bade badon ki thandi nikal jati hai’

Hamare haan to kai logo ke phone number diye hote hai:D

Re: Public places and nasty messages

Ninja do you have wall chalking about Desi hakeems on your walls?

Yes bhai mardana taqat ki dawai dene wale hakim ki advertise to main agra se delhi tak ke highway aur apne region me bhi dekhi hai..

Fir bi hamare haan graffiti ka shauk west ke muqabil kaafi kum hai...

Re: Public places and nasty messages

In Karachi bade hakeem saheb’s ads were part of many walls in different areas. The latest ad that is written on walls at the start of Lyari Expressway (near Sohrab Goth) is so explict that I can’t even make a hint about it :smack2:

How about the historical places like Laal qila and Taaj mehal? Do people write on thewalls of these monuments?

Tajmahal par maine nahi dekha
Wanha kafi care ki jati hai..

Re: Public places and nasty messages

Non desi bhi kuch kam nahi.

Re: Public places and nasty messages

 You mean non-desi are also involved in such activities.

Re: Public places and nasty messages

as per the kaur, laal qila contains such writings.

Ji inn log ko to western nations me anti graffiti wall paint bhi use karna parta hai

Re: Public places and nasty messages

Its not a desi practice only look at the works of Banksi. :D

I used to be a pretty contraversial street artist too most of the work is stencilled but once we did make a mural on a factory wall over 20 meters long depicting the strugles of various people across the world.

Re: Public places and nasty messages

But I think you won't find 'Mardana kamzori ka ilaj' and 'mehboob aap ke qadmon main' type slogans on the walls of western countries.

Re: Public places and nasty messages

Banksy rocks :k:

Re: Public places and nasty messages

:hmmm: So I’ve to google this Banksy

Re: Public places and nasty messages

It happens as much in teh West too.

The nasty one I rather not mention -_-''
Trying to remember funny ones I read...

Re: Public places and nasty messages

Public toilets are disgusting, with pictures and all. I have seen some toilets with sectarian stuff as well, like kaafir kaafir dash kaafir.

Re: Public places and nasty messages

usually phone no's in public places...

Re: Public places and nasty messages

I think the hostel’s bathrooms are more infamous for all types of nasty slogans including politicals naare… Zinda hai Bhutto Zinda hai :hbk:

Re: Public places and nasty messages

You would be surprised.

Re: Public places and nasty messages

You mean you dont know who he/she is?

Well I suppose knowbody knows that but Banksy is a Famous street artist and one of his/her most mindblowing murals was in Gaza and another one on the Isreali Defence wall…

I am inclined to believe Banksy is a Woman and that many will know she uses special stencils for her artwork but you can buy some these days.
