After some reservations initially, I must admit that I am beginning to like this show alot. I think Yasir Queshi prolly is one of the few talents in the talent starved PTV Host-dom! (Talat Hussain, you rock dude).
The sense of confidence and authoritiveness, not to mentioned the people personality, really makes watching the show interesting. They had a replacement for him a couple of weeks back and I realized then how good yasir is. But anyhow, he does carry the entre show on his shoulders quite amazingly and my hats off to him.
Public Boltee Hai rocks, man. :k: My family just loves to watch it every thursday, although none of our relitves in Lahore were caught by the cameras. Favorite segment of mine is Yasir visiting people in their homes and also raids on stars’ residents are cool too. :biggthumb
One thing I wanna point out is that for some reason Yasir keeps running to girls after every short while. Or ouper say woh ladkian, OMG aflatoon hein. Not that I’m complaining but I think since the program is called Public Boltee Hai and not Ladkian Boltee Hein, thus he should give equal footage to everyone. But good thing this has changed in the past few episodes.
I was watching the show last week with my mom, and we were cracking up. He shows up randomly at people’s doors, and mom’s like kisay din aynay iddaN de chittar khanay aaN, eeda damagh pola ho jana aay
He’s a good host though and is funny at times :k: It’s a good show. Your choice these days isn’t bad with that new host, and i like their idea of doing the show outside at different locations. It’s refreshing.
The show's grown on me too. I like the fact that you get to see a bit of Lahore in the back, it's refreshing indeed. For some reason I always miss the beginning of the show, I want the email for it! Does anyone know?
he doesn’t show up randomly at people’s doors. Their relitives write to this show and express their feelings of meeting them and only then he goes. Once he lets’em know that he’s here because of a reletive of yours has written to us and asked to visit you.
Istaran uda sir pola honey dey chances zara kum nai.

baita inn se matha na lao, verna tumharay pola honay ke din ajain ge :~)
awww EP - try taking it easy sometimes, people might actually like you. I am sure you aren't half as rude as you sound.
Shani - I know about the letter thing that relatives write, i am sure people he's going to see are already aware that he's coming cuz everything always plays out nicely, but people do give him weird looks when he shows up like that. So that chittar comment was in reference to that.

i don't care about what people think of me or do like me or dislike me. i'll live my life my way :-)
The show is great, and yasir is good, however one thing to note, all that door showing up thingie, its random… I had some distant relatives in that program too… Besides, havent you noticed that whenever yasir goes in, everyone is all dressed up, the ladies have their makeup on, and the house is all tidy
yasir could be soooo mean and funny as well. he was very mean to that fruit stall guy where he asked his team members to fill their bags with his fruit and saying to them yeh apna banda hai....u dont have to pay....he totally upset the poor guy........aik gareeb say aisa mazaak nahi karna chaiye...hated him for that...
the funny bit was where he made people think they had something on their face!
look forward to seeing the drama for which they were shooting for..
