I have removed the first alpha.
The beta site is in place but I have not opened it for any public testing as of now.
ETA on that- Mid next week.

With the new version, you will have all the features of current journals, plus:

  1. improved private journals
  2. ability to send an email and have your journal entry created.
  3. images are stored in your private folders
  4. lots of skins and possibly the ability to cuztomize your own skin
