Did you hear, PTV prime offering £4.99 per month for all new subscriber, oh my God.
You know what after the free view they come up with such a competitive package, I would say other channels ARY and GEO will definitely think twice about PRIME…

PTV Prime decided to get its act together when ARY/GEO competition hit it hard in the Western Hemisphere. Otherwise, despite all the emails they were being sent to better their programming, all that Mohini woman would say on her show would be "We're looking into it"...
Bullcrap. They have the ability to show a wide variety of topics, but somehow they think that everyone can relate to guys dancing in dhotis with huge muchay...
Right, I'm sorry, but in Pakistan where I come from, we don't have that village garbage.
As for "family programming"...WHATEVER. You people live in the UK, USA, etc - are these "family" type countries? Last I remember hearing was that some European countries have nude parks. And everyone knows UK is wild.
But dollars mein kamai hori hai. Culture doesn't take priority then.
And frankly, the image I see on ARY/GEO, for the MOST part is quite an accurate image of what is really going on in Pakistan. And they touch upon lots of social issues that insecure jhatts like you sweep under the rug.
Pakistan is what it is. Its not the cute-sa gharwala type mahol anymore.
The only people who can relate to Prime are people that live in Lahore...or come from Lahore. Or some Punjabi pind. Other than that, the rest of Pakistan could care less for dhotis and nach punjabans.

oh and btw, is that Sarmad Sufiyan (read Sardard Sufian) show is still on Prime? He contributed to my decision of disconnecting Prime.
Logic is quite simple. PRIME did not care about the audience when there was no compitition. Why should we care about Prime now when we have FAR BETTER alternatives? I dont wana see Mohni Auntie at PRIME TIME (7-8pm) on Sat/sun night reading (self praising) mails that she writes to herself!

Now that we have GEO I dont think i’ll ever subscribe to PTV prime again, no matter how hard ptv prime try.
When is GEO going to encrypt as I want to watch their other selection of programs that are not included in this free view.

There is nothig really great about PTV prime. To be honest apart from Music station there is nothing else worth watching

so tell me you geo lovers. wot is so good about geo. news news news and more news. which are not live. the only entertainment you get on geo is about 1.5 hours between 7 to 9pm. the rest is news and current affairs.

Yes i do agree with you. Geo is all bout news. secondly the people who are not happy with ptv prime programs i would say they have no idea what programming is? All they know to watch indian v[font=Times New Roman]algarity… PTV prime is pure and family channel.. i would see if you guys have family and you have some sort of culture respect in your family then you would not go for ARY / GEO… i hope you must have understand my point..
